‍‍‍Things you ‍‍‍should kno‍‍‍‍‍‍w

I have never voted t‍‍‍o raise the tax millage rate.

The residential street lighting fee has been reduced by approximately fifteen percent. Our city is a leader in high efficiency LED street lights ‍‍‍‍‍‍—better light, less energy, safer neighborhoods.

The complete street projects continue which allow for pedestrian safe streets with enhanced sidewalks, bike ways, markings and traffic calming amenities.

Continuing the tree planting program throughout the city for an added shade tree canopy.

Continuing with the storm water projects which will improve homeowner flood insurance ratings.

Continue to expand events‍‍‍‍‍‍ and programs throughout our parks to offer various event venues to residents. Identifying parks for improved amenities that residents seek. We saved the golf course for future generations and as a natural green space with future amenities coming.

‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Our fire service is getting bett‍‍‍er and more efficient due to restructuring and cost sharing with the County. Casselberry, ‍‍‍Altamonte Sprin‍‍‍gs and Winter Springs have all adopted similar arrangements. A better fire rating can mean lower insurance rates for you.

I voted against the recent increase in the city utility rate. My fellowCommissioners / Mayor are as well looking for ways to save residents money.

‍‍‍Continuing with place making for proper scaled residential and commercial mixes creating a look and feel of a city downtown.

‍‍‍Improving our City Police Department is a work in progress. We have added Officers and a‍‍‍re investing in equipment and facilities. Officer safety and your safety is a priority.

‍‍‍‍‍‍Continue and support financial transparency for which the city has received numerous awards for.

Continue improving customer service throughout all departments.

Casselberry has increased in valuation city limit to city limit by nineteen percent in just this past year alone. This is double what most cities experience. With all this increase we can make new Investments and build on our success, without raising the tax millage rate.

Continuing the support for the Community Revitalization Agency CRA which has added investment to Casselberry. I have with a team approach worked cooperatively with people who are investing in our city. I have pushed for higher standards and better construction.
